Our Teams

NWA United FC offers a structured player development pathway through Classic and Academy teams, in alignment with US Youth Soccer standards. Our programs are designed to meet players where they are and help them grow into the best versions of themselves—on and off the field.

Academy Teams

(U8–U12)

Our Academy Program serves as a bridge between recreational and competitive soccer, offering advanced training in a development-first environment.

  • League Play: Small-sided games (7v7, 9v9) in developmental leagues

  • Team Formation: Evaluations and placements based on technical and tactical readiness

  • Training: 2 sessions per week with a focus on individual skill mastery

  • Tournaments: Select local events to reinforce learning

  • Focus: Technical foundation, decision-making, and confidence building

Classic Teams

(U11–U19)

Our Classic Program is designed for players seeking a competitive environment with a strong emphasis on development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

  • League Play: Arkansas State League and regional US Youth Soccer-sanctioned competitions

  • Team Formation: Based on age and skill level through open tryouts

  • Training: 2–3 sessions per week with licensed coaches

  • Tournaments: Expect to participate in local and regional events throughout the year

  • Focus: Long-term player development, team cohesion, and love for the game

Player Pathway

Our developmental model supports players from their first touch to elite competition:

  • Academy (U8–U12): Skill-focused, small-sided play

  • Classic (U11–U19): Competitive team play and league participation

  • Elite Opportunities: Pathways to ODP, college showcases, and national platforms

  • Players are evaluated each season to ensure proper placement and opportunities for growth and development.
